Having tasted this wine four times, two words consistently appeared in my notes - refinement and class. Surely in the top five for the vintage, with its beautifully harmonious black fruit aromas, dense full structured palate and incredibly long, dry finish. This is a classic in every way - superb.Dow

Mid ruby – a bit muddy-looking. Pungent, hot nose. Very very sticky sweet. An extreme wine that might ideally need just a little more structure for perfection. Hot finish.
