Grenache just edges Mourvedre this year, with 32 and 30 % respectively but both make their presence felt in a wine that has energetic savoury grip and deliciously ripe approachable fruit.The other 11 varietals are, as always present and correct but it is the tension between the sweet fruit of the Grenache and the tannic structure of the Mourvedre which define the quality of this wine.
