Sussex Cellar Dinners
Escaping the hustle and bustle of St James’s Street, step into the quiet of Pickering Place and through a secret door in one of our historic townhouses, and down into our Sussex Cellar. Spread over two levels the Sussex Cellar combines modern architectural innovation with the feel of our historic cellars.
Arrive from 6.30pm for an apéritif on the mezzanine level, and then descend one floor to take your seats in the Sussex Cellar. Our Head Chef Stewart Turner and his team will serve up a series of dishes designed to partner each glass of wine you are served, and your host will be on hand to answer questions and share their extensive wine knowledge.

Join us in the luxurious surrounds of St James’s newest cellar, named after the Duke of Sussex, for our series of dinners celebrating Europe’s finest food and wine pairings. Our talented Head Chef, Stewart Turner, will work closely with your wine host for each occasion to ensure that all the hard work of food and wine matching is done for you so that you can relax and enjoy a true gourmet experience. Tonight’s dinner focuses on Christmas food and wine pairings. Your host, Anne McHale MW, will share with you some of her favourite classic fine wines to match Stewart’s festive menu; expect to relax into the Christmas spirit whilst discovering some heavenly pairings of your own for the big day.
N.B. Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd stocks at the time of the event, so most will be available to order afterwards
