Description

1990 was an exceptional vintage throughout France. Tonight is a chance to enjoy a superlative selection of these wines 25 years on, in the company of Jasper Morris MW and in the surrounds of our luxurious new cellar in St James’s. After an apéritif from R&L Legras, the inimitable Dom Pérignon and Krug will accompany your first course, followed by a pairing from one of Pommard’s best vineyards, made by two different producers. A brace of fine second growth St Juliens will then follow, preceding the one-and-only Ch. Haut-Brion and sister estate La Mission Haut-Brion. The spectacular line-up will finish with the golden drops of Barsac and Sauternes, with Yquem itself providing the final flourish.

Wines to be tasted:
1990 Champagne R&L Legras, Cuvée St Vincent, Brut, Grand Cru
1990 Champagne Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Brut
1990 Champagne Krug
1990 Pommard, Les Rugiens, 1er Cru, Domaine François Parent
1990 Pommard, Clos des Epéneaux, 1er Cru, Comte Armand
