Description

Bodegas Cillar de Silos is owned and run by the brothers and sister team of Oscár, Roberto and Amelia Aragón and located in the heart of Ribera del Duero. They also manage the El Quintanal Estate in neighbouring wine region Rueda, and are thus perfectly located for both red and white winemaking, demonstrating all that is great about Verdejo and Tempranillo as grape varieties. The Aragóns define their house philosophy with the words ‘purity, fruit, low yields, long ageing and hand selection’. The wines are finely crafted but demonstrably Spanish, which can only be good news. This afternoon, have the pleasure of meeting Amelia and Oscár, enjoying their wines over luncheon and sharing a love for all things Spanish with your affable, cordial and charming host, Lance Jefferson.

N.B. Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd stocks at the time of the event, so most will be available to order afterwards

Hosted by Lance Jefferson,
Director to the Chairman’s Office

Napoleon Cellar Luncheons

Napoleon Cellar Luncheons

Get away from the hustle and bustle by joining us at one of our popular Napoleon Cellar Luncheons where you'll be treated to fine wine, fine cuisine and fine company.

Tucked away beneath our shop in the heart of central London, the cellars were once the largest working cellars in the capital. In 1999 they were converted to create London's most exclusive fine dining venue.

Housed within the impressive vaulted Napoleon Cellar, so named after Napoleon III, who plotted his return to France here whilst in exile in England between 1838 and 1848, you will be treated to a truly unforgettable luncheon.

Lunch commences at 12.45pm with a refreshing aperitif to whet your appetite ahead of a sumptuous three-course lunch. Your host will introduce and talk about each superb wine (minimum of five) as they are served to you.
