Escaping the hustle and bustle of St James’s Street, step into the quiet of Pickering Place and through a secret door in one of our historic townhouses, and down into our Sussex Cellar. Spread over two levels the Sussex Cellar combines modern architectural innovation with the feel of our historic cellars.
Arrive from 6.30pm for an apéritif on the mezzanine level, and then descend one floor to take your seats in the Sussex Cellar. Our Head Chef Stewart Turner and his team will serve up a series of dishes designed to partner each glass of wine you are served, and your host will be on hand to answer questions and share their extensive wine knowledge.

Description
Our Tasting Menu series of dinners is designed to take the hard work out of deciding which wine to enjoy with which food. In consultation with our talented Head Chef Stewart Turner, the host for your event will select a wine to match beautifully with each of Stewart’s stylish dishes. You will be served a total of six glasses of wine and six elegantly proportioned dishes, for a gourmet evening with real class in the unique surrounds of our newest cellar at No. 3 St James’s Street: the Sussex Cellar. Tonight’s event focuses on the true classics. Your host, Anne McHale MW, has a soft spot for the classic wines of Europe and will indulge you with Champagne, Burgundy, Claret and Port, all to match the very classic dishes which Stewart has planned.
N.B. Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd stocks at the time of the event, so most will be available to order afterwards
