2014 Bordeaux En Primeur Tasting, Lindley Hall, Thursday 9th July

Our annual tasting of cask samples of 2014 Bordeaux, the current en primeur release, remains as popular and pleasant an event as ever. The 2014 vintage has a further advantage in that the wines have a freshness and abundance of fruit that makes them very amenable to taste, assess and compare with their peers. The 2014 wines will prove immensely satisfying and won’t need an age to mature, although they will last years if needed.

Below are a list of producers we are expecting to attend. They will show their 2014 alongside another vintage, principally 2005 or 2006 along with some others, offering a fine opportunity to taste a wine you may well already have and check on its development.  A representative from each château will be on hand to discuss the wines, and La Fromagerie will supply their excellent cheese.
