Description
Most of the wines tonight will come from the 2013 vintage, allowing you to concentrate on the impact of a vineyard’s location and quality. After a glass of our Grand Cru Champagne, we delve into a trio of Chablis that have different quality levels (village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru) giving us the perfect opportunity to cover their importance in this region. We then have a famous quartet of whites to compare from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Pouilly-Fuissé. Following on from this we taste the famous Burgundian reds including Nuits-St Georges, Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin. The evening’s exciting finale comes in the form of two Grands Crus from Gevrey-Chambertin that both have some bottle age.
