Description

Wine Education Specialist Anne McHale MW began her career working with Rhône wines, and has nurtured a soft spot for them ever since. Imagine her delight, then, to be able to introduce you to a selection of wines that reads like a roll-call of the region’s very best producers. You will taste the oft-overlooked whites of Condrieu, Hermitage and Châteauneuf-du-Pape before a memorable line-up of reds to include wines from the legendary Guigal and Chapoutier, as well as Jean-Louis Chave’s superb Hermitage. This promises to be a fascinating and very educational evening.

Wines to be tasted:
Champagne Marguet, Rosé, Grand Cru
2013 Hermitage Blanc, Les Rocoules, Domaine Marc Sorrel
2012 Hermitage Rouge, Domaine Marc Sorrel
2012 Côte-Rôtie, Domaine Michel et Stéphane Ogier
2012 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, La Crau, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe
2011 Hermitage Rouge, Domaine Jean-Louis Chave
2011 Condrieu, Côteau de Vernon, Domaine Georges Vernay
2011 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château de Beaucastel
2008 Côte-Rôtie, La Mouline, Domaine Etienne Guigal
2001 Ermitage Rouge, Le Méal, Michel Chapoutier
2001 Côte-Rôtie, La Mordorée, Michel Chapoutier
1998 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château de Rayas
