Description

A complex wine country with more than 900 indigenous grape varieties, Italy can be baffling to the uninitiated. However, this evening is designed to equip you with everything you need to tackle your next Italian wine list with gusto. Your host, Wine Education Specialist Barbara Drew, has selected a range of wines which combines classics with slightly more off-the-wall examples. The tasting will cover all the key regions so that you get a feel for the different styles and grape varieties. And, since we know that Italian wine is designed to go with food, there will be a lovely selection of cheeses and our Head Chef’s Italian-themed accompaniments for you to enjoy as well.
