Description

New Zealand is famous for its white wines, particularly the Sauvignon Blanc which catapulted the country’s wines onto the world stage in the Eighties. Lesser known are its very fine reds which have been growing in reputation for a while. Join Richard Veal as he showcases some of the best. You will taste top Pinot Noir from a range of different regions and producers; you will try examples of Syrah and Bordeaux blends and will even sample a New Zealand Montepulciano. This promises to be a fascinating and very educational evening.

2013 Churton The Abyss Pinot Noir, Marlborough
2012 Felton Road Bannockburn Pinot Noir, Central Otago
