White Burgundy, Tutored Tasting, 30th June 2016

Join Burgundy-lover and Master of Wine Anne McHale as she explores her ‘desert island’ wine style. Before attending this tasting, you may be forgiven for being part of the ‘ABC’ (Anything but Chardonnay) club, but certainly not afterwards as it is in Burgundy that Chardonnay achieves its most sublime expression. Tonight’s pursuit will take you from steely, backboned Chablis in the north right through to the softer, fleshier wines of the Mâconnais. On the way you will also discover the inimitable treasures of Burgundy’s most famous region, the Côte d’Or. Anne has chosen a dazzling line-up and will finish the evening on a high with two Grands Crus and one Premier Cru. Do join her as she very selfishly indulges in these stunning gems.
