Description

Australia is the country which, decades ago, introduced wine to a much wider range of palates here in the UK. These days the diversity of Aussie wine has never been greater, and the seductive ‘sunshine-in-a-glass’ styles so prized by the British have been joined by more European-style wines, giving an enormous amount of choice for your tutor Anne when she selects the wines for this introductory evening. She will pick her line-up of the best and will showcase a range of regions and styles, including all the key grape varieties and climates, both cooler and hotter. Expect to see the classics: Chardonnay, Sémillon, Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, with the odd curveball thrown in to keep you on your toes.

Hosted by Anne McHale MW, Wine Education Specialist

N.B. Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd stocks at the time of the event, so most will be available
to order afterwards.
