Description
Explore the wines of North America tonight in this introductory tasting designed to guide you through the key styles and regions. Since the majority of North American wine production is centred in the state of California, we will be focusing our attention on the Golden State this evening, with important grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon all featuring. There will also be one or two ‘oddities’ and the chance as well to sample wines from other parts of North America including Oregon and Canada. With the wines accompanied by a tasty line-up of cheeses, this is an evening not to be missed.
Hosted by Anne McHale MW, Wine Education Specialist
N.B. Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd stocks at the time of the event, so most will be available
to order afterwards.
