Description

The Aussies and Kiwis go head-to-head tonight in this fascinating tasting showcasing some of the best wines from both countries. There has always been a friendly rivalry between the two countries and tonight you’ll get to decide (wine-wise at least) which gets your vote. Your host, Richard Veal, may be an Aussie, but since he’s not long back from an educational wine visit to New Zealand he may be more impartial than you think.

Wines to be tasted:
2011 Apogee Brut, Tasmania, Australia
2012 Hans Herzog Sauvignon Blanc Sur Lie, Marlborough, New Zealand
2010 Neudorf Vineyards Nelson Chardonnay, New Zealand
2012 Craiglee Vineyard Chardonnay, Victoria, Australia
2013 Mazza Wines Bastardo Rosé, Geographe, Western Australia
2011 Ostler Blue House Pinot Noir, Waitaki River, Otago, New Zealand
2010 Churton Pinot Noir, Marlborough, New Zealand
2012 Crittenden Estate Kangerong Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula, Australia
2010 Bullnose Syrah Te Mata Estate, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand
2012 Jamsheed Garden Gully Shiraz, Great Western, Victoria, Australia
2010 William Murdoch The Guardsman, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand
2011 Penfolds Bin 407, South Australia

NB Wines for this event have been chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd’s historic stocks and may not be available to order following the event.
