Description

Most of the wines tonight will come from the 2013 vintage, allowing you to concentrate on the impact of a vineyard’s location and quality. After a glass of our Grand Cru Champagne, we will delve into a trio of Chablis with different quality levels (village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru) giving us the perfect opportunity to cover their importance in this region.

We will move on to a famous quartet of whites from Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Pouilly-Fuissé. Then we will taste the famous Burgundian reds including a Nuits-St Georges, Vosne-Romanée and Gevrey-Chambertin. The evening’s exciting finale comes in the form of an aged Chambolle-Musigny and arguably the greatest Grand Cru from Gevrey-Chambertin.

Wines to be tasted:
Crémant de Bourgogne, Brut, Domaine la Croix Montjoie
2014 Berry Bros. & Rudd Chablis by Domaine du Colombier
