Description
Some grape varieties seem only to thrive in their native region, while others have been able to find new and successful homes in other parts of the world. A well-known example among white varieties is Sauvignon Blanc, native to the Loire, which has been enthusiastically transplanted to New Zealand, but there are other less well-known examples that have also produced interesting results.
Focusing entirely on whites, this evening we will taste several of these versatile varieties to see how the wine styles differ.
