Description

Indulge your sweet tooth this evening as Barbara Drew guides you through an exciting range of ice wines from locations as diverse as Germany, Canada and even China.

You will learn about the unique conditions necessary to make wine from frozen grapes, explore the purity and balance of these wines in the glass, and will also have the chance to compare ice wine with sweet wines made in a different method in Sauternes, including the one and only Ch. d’Yquem. There will even be an ice cider in the line-up to show that grapes are not the only fruit capable of producing this distinctive style.
