Berrys' White (Stelvin)

Berrys' White (Stelvin)
Over the years the key component of this blend has moved from Mauzac to Chardonnay, in itself entirely logical, as Limoux is especially well-known for the quality of  its high-altitude Chardonnay. With Vermentino adding aromatic complexity, and traces of Chenin Blanc and Mauzac for structure, this is a very attractive blend with a nose of orchard fruit and spice and palate fruit which strays, albeit elegantly, towards the more tropical end of the spectrum adding gravitas, and making this a fine food-wine as well as a satisfying aperitif.

Jean Luc Terrier is one of the most gifted winemakers in France. He has made his name at the acclaimed Domaine des Deux Roches in Burgundy and is now forging a similar reputation for his range of Languedoc wines, farmed high in the foothills of Limoux around the scenic village of Antugnac.

Berrys' White (Stelvin)
A stylish dry white, this is a blend of grape varieties that really works. It's fine, expressive and textured with nutty, honeyed richness and notes of pear and white peach.
