Champagne & Chocolates Hamper, Christmas 2016

Champagne and chocolates: too much of a cliché? Not, we think, when the Champagne in question is Grand Cru and the chocolates come courtesy of ultra-stylish chocolatier Amelia Rope. These Catànies – a traditional Catalan treat – are made from a whole, perfect almond which is toasted before being coated in barely-there caramel, a layer of chocolate and a dusting of powdered chocolate. They’re melting, sublime and certainly too good to share.
