Crafted in the classic Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey style, the mash of malted and unmalted barley has been triple distilled in copper pot stills. Matured for between 15 and 22 years in American refill casks the whiskeys were then blended together and put into new Irish oak (Dair Ghaelach) hogsheads for almost a year.
Master of Maturation, Kevin O’Gorman, and Master Blender, Billy Leighton have created a Whiskey with aromatic notes of vanilla, banana, cinnamon and coffee. On the palate pineapple and caramelised apple lead into a long spicy finish.
