Description
Scotland’s vinous history dates back to the 12th century when its ancient ports in Edinburgh and Fife regularly received cases of claret making it one of the oldest Bordeaux drinking nations on earth. Long before it became famous for its world class Scotch whisky it was knee deep in clairette a light, rose colured wine made from Bordeaux.
Join Ronnie Cox, Berry Bros. & Rudd’s brand heritage director for spirits and Will Lyons, senior fine wine advisor o St Andrew’s day as they guide you through a four-course meal accompanied by claret and whisky to celebrate more than 800 years of discerning drinking north of the border and toast the Auld Alliance.
