Description

After the success of last year’s event, we will once more dive deep into the scientific side of winemaking. Barbara Drew, Wine and Spirit Education Specialist and self-confessed wine nerd, will fill you in on the science which counts at every stage. You will cover a range of topics, including pH versus total acidity, stopped fermentations, malolactic conversion and filtration, all illustrated with contrasting pairs of wine. The fun will be interactive as the Pickering Cellar turns into a laboratory for the evening. Come along, roll your sleeves up, and get involved in our experiments for a fun and highly educational evening. Hosted by Barbara Drew, Wine and Spirit Education Specialist
