Description

If you can’t tell your Margaux from your Morey-St Denis, tonight is for you. Bordeaux and Burgundy, France’s most famous wine regions, can provide myriad trip-ups for the wine student. Come along to an evening exploring the classic styles of each region with Wine and Spirit Education Specialist Barbara Drew. You’ll learn all about the two regions and their wines – from the soils, climate and grapes used to the resulting wines. Tasting blind, you’ll tackle the most common villages and learn the key identifying characteristics of the different styles. At the end, pit your wits against a blind tasting of four wines, two from Burgundy and two from Bordeaux. Hosted by Barbara Drew, Wine and Spirit Education Specialist
