Description

The two ends of the Rhône Valley are, in vinous terms, dissimilar siblings: one lyrical, generally focused on the single varietal and seemingly taking a stylistic lead from  the neighbouring Burgundian vineyards; the other broad, expansive and generous, glorying in  a varied palette of grape varieties and a distinctly Mediterranean warmth. A keen sense of enquiry prompted our long-standing Rhône Buyer, Simon Field MW, to initiate this intriguing tête-à-tête, which promises to be a fascinating and pleasurable exercise. The evening will be made all the more appealing by the selection of growers and, of course, the deliciously indulgent menu. Hosted by Simon Field MW, Wine Buyer
