Description

Join Scott Cotter for a special supper in our Long Room, to honour the haggis and the Bard of Ayrshire, Rabbie Burns. We will be serving some very special wines – the delightful Que Bonito from Contador and the 2014 Ridge Vineyards Geyserville from Sonoma County – alongside wonderful Scottish fare from our Head Chef Stewart Turner.
The evening will, naturally, include an “Address to a Haggis”, and we will be exploring grain as much as grape with some sensational whisky. After visiting two very different styles of Speyside Scotch, the evening will be rounded off in show stopping style with a 35-year-old, single-cask Islay beauty – one of only 45 bottles ever produced. Hosted by Scott Cotter, Fine Wine Specialist

Wines and spirits to be tasted:
Champagne Louis Roederer, Brut Premier
1990 Berrys’ Auchroisk Cask 21752 (46%)
2012 Que Bonito, Cacareaba, Contador, Rioja, Spain
Glenfarclas 15-Year-Old, Speyside
2012 Ridge Vineyards Geyserville, Sonoma County, California, USA
