A densely fruited and more classic nose of lemon, pear and straw nuances leads to rich and relatively full-bodied flavors that retain a fine sense of underlying detail as well as a hint of minerality on the solidly powerful and lengthy finish. There is ample dry extract present that buffers the firm acid spine that is certainly present but not dominant as there is no excess dryness. This is pretty and really quite stylish if not especially deep and I very much like the overall sense of balance.
