This Semillon wine is a glorious Australian version of Sauternes! A hedonistic bouquet of honeyed apricot and peach, cut by hints of citrus peel, followed by a rich, unctuous texture on the palate and a long, positive finish. Although the wine is extremely sweet it does not display a cloying, sugary sweetness, but rather a clean, complex richness which would partner soft summer fruit dishes very well, especially those served as part of a creamy dessert.
