1989 Berrys' Own Selection Cragganmore

Berrys' Own Selection Cragganmore
Berrys' Own Selection Cragganmore Speyside whisky shows a fresh and fruity nose with apples, pear juice, custard and smoke to the fore. A little hard oak tightens things nicely. The palate bursts with ripe fruit, yellow fruit skins and a smoky edge balancing the textured sweetness. The sweet juicy fruitiness lingers long into the classy finish.Cragganmore Distillery, Speyside

Berrys' Own Selection Cragganmore
This Berry’s Own Selection Cragganmore 1989 had a nose of ferns, fennel, some spice and an edge of minerality, with water adding a bit of baked bean sweetness and meatiness. To taste it was focused on a big spicy wood centre, with sweet edges, bitter orange, apple skin and an underlying earthiness. It finished hot, with sour wood and cheese rind, with water bringing out more liquorice and sweet wood.
