A white Burgundy in a rare guise - as a Nuits-St-Georges Blanc from 80 % Chardonnay and 20 % Pinot Blanc (a mainstay white grape of the village in the past), offering an intense nose of citrus fruits and clementine notes, followed by a streak of minerality on the palate. The Chardonnay lends the minerality and the weight ; the Pinot Blanc gives the “candied” notes and amplifies the flavours of Chardonnay.Patrice et Michèle Rion
