A distinctly ripe but relatively classic nose offers up aromas of white flower, fresh citrus, stone and sea breeze nuances that complement well the rich, powerful and full-bodied flavors that possess ample volume and while this is not as concentrated as the Mont de Milieu, it is both finer and more detailed on the even longer finish.

Benoit Droin noted that 2009 "did not produce classic Chablis wines in the same fashion as 2007 or 2008 but they are rich, delicious, fresh and reasonably well balanced."
