This Volnay En Champans 1er Cru is quite pale in colour thanks to the inclusion of three quarters of the stems, but has magnificent fragrance. It is a pure and perfumed wine on the palate with a bevy of different red fruits vying for pole position. It will put on weight over the next few years before optimum drinking from 2015 to 2020.
