This cuvée, named after Jim Clendenen’s son, is a single-vineyard offering made from grapes grown in the very best parts of the Bien Nacido Vineyard. In 2008 there is a noticeable red fruit character to the bouquet, with strawberries, raspberries and cherries to the fore. On the palate there is the sumptuous silkiness that one has come to expect from this wine, with a depth and intensity which comfortably covers the oak. Wonderful with beef.
