The 1985 demonstrates both the longevity and the complexity inherent in this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat. Despite the age of the wines, the tannins are still disciplined and firm, with the fruit still dark and dense, but now with a savoury gamey twist which will match, naturally enough, dishes of a savoury and gamey inclination.

A blend of 70% Tannat; 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Madiran displays a developed and powerful character. Robust and savoury, it is packed with bags of leafy, soft spices, cedar wood and hints of pruneau and figs. A beautiful and authentic wine!
