This has matured into a genuinely beautiful wine, at least when you find a pristine example. There is plenty of Chablis character to the elegant and ultra-pure aromas of dried white flowers, citrus, oyster shell and a distinct saline character that also suffuses the still impressively intense and mineral-driven flavors that possess fine mid-palate concentration and outstanding persistence on the balanced finish. I very much like this and it has arrived at its peak, at least for my taste though it seems reasonably clear that this should hold for years to come. Note: I have had significant problems with prematurely oxidized bottles of the '02 Les Clos, indeed out of four opened, two have been so affected.
