The best Rosso I can remember from this up and coming Montalcino estate. Great cherry fruit, Sangiovese just sings on the palate. Tremendous value for money for drinking over the next couple of years, till 2014.

There is no doubting the succulent strawberry character of this early-drinking, 100% Sangiovese Rosso di Montalcino. Fermented in stainless steel and then aged in large French tini di legno, Andrea is at pains to explain that this wine is effectively declassified Brunello, at a Rosso price!
