2005 Selección de Añada, DO Rías Baixas, Pazo de Señoráns

Seleccion de Anada, DO Rias Baixas, Pazo de Senorans
Pazo de Senorans is now seen as the very best Galician winery. Located at Vilanoviña, in the Pontevedra town of Meis, winery and vines alike benefit from a situation in one of Rias Baixas’ most prestigious sub-zones.

The Seleccion de Anada, as the name suggests, is a premium wine made from the very best grapes, some sourced from older vines. Stainless steel fermentation was followed by thirty months again in old wood, with frequent wood-stirring. The wine is rich, finely textured and extremely satisfying; the nose of orchard fruit, tilleul and sour honey leads onto a generous palate, with green and citrus fruit harmoniously entwined with notes of mandarin, nougat and gentle spice.
