"An amazing accomplishment for a Bordeaux Supérieur, Reignac's 2000, a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, cropped at 25 hl/ha and aged 100% on its lees in new oak, exhibits an opaque ruby/purple colour, an impressively complex nose of black currants intermixed with graphite, vanilla and cedar. The wine is medium to full-bodied, dense, rich and the qualitative equivalent of a top classified growth from the Médoc. Another 2000 that has to be tasted to be believed, it should drink well for 8-10 years, possibly longer. A revelation!" 92/100pts (Robert Parker - Wine Advocate - Apr-2003)
