1973 Berrys' Own Selection Teaninich Single Highland Malt

Berrys' Own Selection Teaninich Single Highland Malt
Berrys' Own Selection Teaninich Single Highland Malt  offers an indulgent nose of sweet caramel and toffee apple, an undertone of bitter nuts and ground coffee. Orange Peel. Less sweet on the palate and an attractive depth of wood character. Dried fruits and orange peel linger on the finish.
(Adam Holden - London Shop Manager)

Teaninich is to be found near the Cromarty Firth in the north-east Highlands. Founded in 1817 by Captain Hugh Munro, the distillery produces Malt Whisky in high demand from blenders. The mashing process is different here as they use a mash filter rather than the conventional mash tun to extract the worts.

Beguiling and fruity with perfumed aromas emerging. Passion fruit, a touch of lime and polished oak invite further exploration. The palate delivers waves of vanilla, yellow fruit and honey with some toasty influence. A little liquorice kicks in heralding the graceful finish.Teaninich Distillery, Highlands
