Cooler, more composed than the warm 2007s, Stephanie's single vineyard 'Chevalerie' shows a wonderful limpidity, a bright damson colour; the nose compact with dark, blackberry ripeness, of purity. In the mouth, it dispays a beautiful silken texture, of cool clay blackberry fruit, along with a mintiness, while remaining focussed; the organic fruit giving the wine an extra lift, of verve. Drinking now but will improve until 2018 at least; with pigeon? Bravo Stephanie!
