Year after year, Rangen defies the vintage: its vertical slopes, 350-450 metre elevation, volcanic soils imbuing its fruit and wine with a bold smoky herb, flint and earthy character, underlined by the raciest of structures, with rich botrytic, honeyed flavours dominating the palate; a real thoroughbred of a Riesling, untouchable over the final furlong... off-dry at 31 grams/litre of residuel sugar..driinking from 2010 till 2020 at least.
