This is the second wine of the famous Château Doisy Védrines, a 2ème Cru Classé, and is lighter than the grand vin. You should only buy second wines in great years, and 2001 is a truly legendary vintage for Sauternes and Barsac. The wine is aged in new oak, so we can get the vanilla flavours we want. It's elegant, balanced and has a lovely, velvety mouthfeel.
