The base year here is 2007 but over 35% of the wine is, as the name suggests, from reserves, maintained in a solera system and covering sixteen vintages. The fruit is sourced 2/3 from top villages on the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil, the balance from Oger, Chouilly and Cramant). The wine combines notes of acacia, hawthorn and lime and has great energy and concentration; precocious yet powerful.

Pierre Peters, Cuvée de Réserve shows a very seductive nose that promises full flavour and complexity with inviting brioche and buttery flavours. The palate reflects the nose and is balanced by the zesty acidity, the creaminess and the biscuity characters; a long and elegant finish. A great value Champagne.
