40% barrel fermented including some new oak gives a little toastiness from the barrel while the wine is young, but the wealth of fruit rapidly takes over. This will be a dramatic Grand Cru Chablis, combining finesse and intensity, when it matures.

Moderate wood influence sets off a spice-suffused nose of citrus, white flower and brioche hints that can also be detected on the big yet fine flavors brimming with wet stone notes. Not to be missed!
