‘Signé’, although not immediately obviously thus, is an amalgam of the words Syrah and Viognier, so this is another mini Côte Rôtie, falling this time under the modest nomenclature of a Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes. As one may expect by the combination of this particular vigneron and this particular vintage, the result is impressive indeed, with stunning red-berry fruit aromatics and delicious silky and rounded tannins. Warning; this wine will contain seductive fruit from the outset!
