Relatively new to the delights of Condrieu, Ferraton have identified a ‘lieu dit’ in the north of the commune, perched high above the village itself. Barrel –fermented, Les Mandouls is rich and appropriately unctuous with notes of gingerbread, quince and verbena garlanding the more usual descriptors of honeysuckle, pear skin and peach stone.
