A background touch of wood frames ripe, fresh and pure earthy red pinot fruit aromas that are more complex if less refined while continuing to the rich, generous, mouth coating and intense big-bodied flavors blessed with ample amounts of dry extract that almost completely hide the otherwise firm supporting structure on the dusty and impressively persistent finish. Excellent potential.
