More discreet, deeper and grown up than the fruitier ‘San Biagio’, Lisini’s Rosso di Montalcino benefits from being vinified amid a less precious environment (i.e. less temperature control) Consequently it treats us to a lovely roll of fruit, of lushness, along with distinct presence & a structure, fine-tuned during 12 months in botte grande. All supported by an excellent vintage! Very good now but will keep for a few years yet. Delicious with game.
