This long established Marlborough winery continues to deliver premium sauvignon from their own vineyards. These are characterised by the clay bench on top of the alluvial river gravel, giving extra weight to the wine. It shows a fine fresh pungent sauvignon nose with depth and character. The fruit is rich but not too exotic, and it lingers on the palate.
