Les Angles and Les Brouillards appear to be among the worst sufferers from hail, notably in both 2001 and 2004. The vineyard enjoys south-east exposure with a thin brown pebbly soil over the limestone and good to excellent drainage. A very good source for les Angles is Louis Boillot, while from 2008 Marquis d’Angerville is producing a cuvée, having bought a second slice of this vineyard.
